Basic module
The basic module serves to acquire fundamental skills in the areas of leadership, project management and communication. It enables participants to develop a general understanding of their (future) field of activity in leadership or project management and to be able to transfer this acquired knowledge to their role.
The courses in the foundation module are organised as follows:
In the subject area"Leadership", participants work on the following topics, among others:
- Leadership role in the university context and its individual organisation
- Central leadership tasks (agreeing goals, ensuring delegation & control and promoting development)
- Giving and receiving feedback
In the subject area"Project management", participants work on the following topics, among others
- Fundamental aspects of project management (terms, roles, processes)
- Planning and structuring projects using the PDCA cycle
- Various process models, such as classic and agile project management
In the subject area"Communication", participants work on the following topics, among others
- Negotiation communication
- Dealing with conflicts
- Moderation
