Alternative career paths for academic staff

To support academic and artistic staff at our university with their career planning and their search for opportunities beyond research, a programme has been developed focusing on alternative career paths.

Access to the programme:

The programme is primarily aimed at doctoral researchers, postdocs, and junior professors who are seeking a career change. It is also open to academic staff who are no longer in a qualification phase, as well as to professionals working in academic management.

Programme structure:

After completing a mandatory initial consultation, participants can access the programme modules listed below. Each module is designed around a specific learning objective and offers topic-focused sessions to help participants engage with the theme of alternative career paths. Together, the four modules form a coherent framework that supports critical reflection and raises awareness of diverse career options. In line with our needs-based approach, participants may also engage with the individual modules independently.
