For academic and artistic employees, the question of their own development opportunities arises at every stage of their career. In line with its mission statement, the University of Wuppertal also considers personnel development to be essential for achieving and maintaining a thriving organisational culture that does the best possible justice to its public education and research mission.

At the interface between overarching and individual development goals, the Academic Staff Development Service Centre sees itself as the first point of contact and service provider for all academic staff at BUW: from qualifying tutors for their first trials in teaching to individual coaching in voice training and body language for professors.

The wide range of services offered by the service centre are divided into three areas: counselling, qualification and coaching. Feel free to contact us - we will advise you individually on questions relating to your personnel development, including career advice, and will put together your personal programme together with you after a check-in meeting.
